Synopsis/ Plot
Based on a novella by Junichi Watanabe, but with minor changes, Namida Tsubo tells the story around a magazine editor who loses his wife to cancer and keeps her ashes in a jar. Below Utopia was a low-budget thriller starring Ice-T and Alyssa Milano. Ice-T wrote a hip-hop score for the film, but director Kurt Voss rejected the music, settling for a conventional score. Ice-T decided to release the music as Below Utopia: The Lost Score in 1998.
